Have you been wondering why the Trikke Bikee blue has been out of stock for such a long time. Well, I also was wondering the same thing. So, today I wanted to contact Trikke on the matter so see when they would have the balance bike back in stock. I received a curious answer. You see for the last few weeks I have been recieving emails from Trikke updating me on a new Balance bike they they were going to offer beginning November 30th. The balance bike has a entirely new design that is distinctive to the Trikke brand that I have not seen with other balance bike distributors. But I have to say it looks really cool. 
So I assumed that Trikke was going to have two bikes available for the holiday season. I guess I was wrong. To my surprise Trikke updated me saying that the Bikee 1 model being released in late November will replace the current Bikee model. So, we will not be getting anymore Bikee models to our site.
Comparing the old model to the new model you can definitely see a difference. The old model did not have any foot support which is usually a major concern with most parents. The new unit still has all the great features of the old unit, they include:
- Airless tires
- Sturdy steal frame
- Adjustable seat and handlebars
- Added feature: foot rest
- Net weight 7 lbs
