"The Hobby Bike is a great idea to save money and garage space. The bike comes without pedals and the pedals can then be attached when the child is ready. Although we have not yet put the pedals on, our just-three-year-old can already manage the push bike on his own, even though he isn't QUITE tall enough. I imagine a tall three-year-old or slightly older child would be the perfect size. The bike is easy to assemble although the instructions aren't very clear and the allen keys that come with the bike aren't a great fit (we used our own). Once we had it set up for our son it seems like it will be sturdy and take plenty of kid use. I am hoping the pedal assembly will be easy once we get to that stage! "
